Last week during our finance update, we talked about how Thrumming Stone was ticking up thanks to Hare Apparent and the proliferation of "you can play any number" cards. Well, Thrumming Stone gained another 129% this week to $26. The good  news is that this only applies to the original Coldsnap printing. If you need a Thrumming Stone or two to play with, you can still snag Double Masters 2022 printings for around $10 or $11. 

Speaking of past finance update advice, one thing we've seen over the past few months is old textless promos being reprinted into Standard and spiking to absurd prices. First it was textless Pyroclasm and then Burst Lightning increasing thousands of%. Seeing these massive spikes made it seem like other potentially reprintable textless promos could be good, cheap pickups. Well, this week Zombify joined the list of texteless promos to spike, gaining 1300% from under $1 to $15 (the price has been bouncing around a lot because there are zero copies for sale anywhere at the moment). Considering that Pyroclasm is still $16 and Burst Lightning is $14, it wouldn't be a surprise to see this price mostly stick. Other cheap textless promos to keep in mind for the future include Condemn, Volcanic Fallout, and Doom Blade, all of which are $2 or less, while the next tier includes cards like Mortify, Blightning, Putrefy, and Terminate, although some of these cards are already $5, which limits their appeal.

Finally, Pawpatch Formation jumped 279% this week to just under $2. The uncommon sees heavy sideboard play in both Standard and Pioneer, which is driving demand. While it's unlikely Pawpatch Formation will go too much higher, at this point it's worth pulling out of your bulk at the very least.
