Pioneer Peak: Indomitably Creative! (Pioneer, Magic Online)
Woweeeee, swordNboard_net got 5-0 in a league with this spicy deck so I had to take it for a spin to see what it's all about!
Gameplan
The deck feels a lot like the Polymorph combo deck in modern but a tad bit slower.
This card is the backbone to our deck in allowing us to get some crazy explosive turns. Yeah, we have planeswalkers and all of that but those walkers serve a bigger purpose! We have cards like Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and Castle Ardenvale to generate us tokens to sacrifice to this spicy card. What creatures will we get?
And that's it! We only have four creatures in the deck so our hits will usually be a good one. If we ever get any of our bombs paired with Dragonlord Kolaghan, then we could potentially put our opponents down to one life!
Some other things I really enjoyed about the deck was the inclusion of Elspeth Conquers Death as the standard all-star does work in Pioneer! It gives us an answer to planeswalkers which we really are lacking. It also allows us to bring back any of our big threats, and the synergy with Pirate's Pillage will allow us to throw away any of our big creatures should we draw them. While also threatening a big threat's return, we also get to grab some artifacts that can serve as more sac fodder for Indomitable Creativity!

We finished 2-3 as the wheels sort of fell off towards the end there but the deck was so much fun! If I'm going to lose, I will gladly lose while piloting this deck. It was unfortunate as the interaction between our indestructible Gideons and Indomitable Creativity led to a punt but regardless, the deck randomly wins out of nowhere. The changes I would make to this deck really comes with the sideboard. I think more ways to interact at instant speed for our Spirits match up is very important along with the quantity of Leyline of Sanctity. The Leyline thing is really more preference as I feel any number under three copies to not be ideal.
The deck definitely felt better than all the other Boros decks to play in the format so maybe this deck has legs to stand on? Either way, the deck is sweet and I highly recommend taking out for an FNM or a league for fun.
