Commander Clash S11 E3: We Play Modern Decks in Commander
For the past couple of years, Wizards has tried to bring Commander to 60-card constructed with mechanics like companion. But what if we go the other direction and try to bring 60-card constructed Magic to Commander? That's what we're going to find out today as each member of the crew builds a deck based on a famous constructed archetype! What did the crew bring to battle?
- Crim brings UB Faeries to the battle, complete with Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek, and, of course, Bitterblossom, led by Nymris, Oona's Trickster.
- Richard tries to Jund 'em Out in a deck showing off the history of Modern Jund, led by Jeska, Thrice Reborn and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan.
- Seth breaks out Memnite, Ornithopter, and Arcbound Ravager with a Modern-focused Affinity build headlined by Atogatog (or sacrifice Atog, of course).
- Philipp tries to figure out what's good in Soul Sisters in a lifegain deck led by Heliod, Sun-Crowned.
