Single Scoop: Pyro of Precinct One (Explorer, Magic Arena)
Gameplan
We're going to party like its 2019 and Ravnica Allegiance standard just popped off!
We're gonna jam Hero of Precinct One #101 with a decent amount of Multicolored spells to go wide. Along with that, we've got everyone's favorite Pyromancer! These two combined should help us go wide with our spells. What happens if our army of 1/1s aren't enough?
Tocatli Honor Guard #42 is looking juicy again as there are ETB decks we're trying to shut off like Elementals, Mono Red, Agent of Treachery #9 Borderless, and Titan of Industry #117. We can also benefit from this by having a turn three Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger #221 Planeswalker Stamp come down and stay around without having to Escape! Seriously though, Taco Guard keeps making sense in the meta every passing day!
Conclusion
The deck oddly still feels way too fair. I couldn't find any solid multicolored draw spells for the deck. I originally tried Thrilling Discovery #243 but it wasn't great when top decked so we just went back to Village Rites #508 but the card isn't multi colored sadly. Tocatli Honor Guard #42 continues to impress and the fact that its a 1/3 is oddly more relevant than you'd think! So we can at least confirm Taco Guard + Kroxa seems great right now! The rest of the deck however is just me having fun with Hero and Young Pyro and probably nothing more than a pet deck.
