Fish Five-0: Grixis Midrange (Standard, Magic Arena)

A lot of people have been asking, is Grixis still viable? The answer is yes! It won't be in the form of control but it's going to play a more midrange game and sokos13 agrees! Sokos13 got a sweet 5-0 with this!

Gameplan

We're just playing a little bit of the Rakdos midrange gameplan but we've added blue for these

$ 0.00 $ 0.00 $ 0.00 $ 0.00

These two cards are insanely powerful right now and usually can run away with games if left uncheck. We also did add a dragon that has taken the backseat temporarily... that's right! Niv-Mizzet, Parun

$ 0.00 $ 0.00

Conclusion

The deck felt weird without a ton of card filtering as I normally would like something like Discovery // Dispersal. I also can't tell if it's my own love for Angrath, the Flame-Chained but I feel like we should be playing a single copy of this in the main as having a planeswalker can attack on a different axis. I would also like to try adding Nicol Bolas, the Ravager but overall this deck was definitely in the direction I'd like to move forward with if I were to be a Grixis mage!

See you at the next one!

Remember Abhorrent Oculus? Well, I still do and Agna Qel'a and a few other cards look to be a fun include as we try to grow our Cosmogoyf.
