Single Scoop: Sorin's Pet Rhino (Explorer)
Gameplan
It's been awhile, but it's time to dust off our Siege Rhinos.
We're hoping to grind out our opponents in explorer with a bunch of removal spells and big beefy Rhinos. We've also splashed white to make use of Mythos of Nethroi and Liesa the Forgotten Angel. All our midrange cards will be backed by Sorin the Mirthless and Vraska, Golgari Queen! Both cards should help us grind out games as their continuous card advantage should help us stay in the ballpark of Rakdos Midrange. Our early game is primarily Scavenging Ooze and Tenacious Underdog. Assuming our Tenacious Underdog isn't eaten up by a Graveyard Trespasser, the card is quietly helping us grind out games with its damage and card draw.
Conclusion
The deck can get flooded as we don't have the red to play Reflections of the Mirror-Breaker. Something I'd like to add to get more value would probably be Treacherous Blessing and Vraska, Golgari Queen. As for now, the deck is definitely behind Rakdos Midrange, but what isn't? It does feel nice to have a Rhino party. Maybe the Rhino is better in 2022 than I thought for Explorer. However, the Rhino gameplan is still a tad bit slow. Maybe something from Dominaria United can help boost this deck's power!
