Single Scoop: Light My Fire (Historic, Magic Arena)
Historic isn't the most friendly place for a burn deck but that won't stop us from trying to incinerate the meta!
Gameplan
The deck is all about going upstairs with damage!
We have numerous effects that deal direct damage or help our opponents lose life. All of this is amplified if we are able to stick our biggest threat, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell. Although Torbran doesn't buff the damage from cards like Kroxa or Sovereign's Bite, it'll still pump everything else including my favorite vortex...
Roiling Vortex combined with Torbran is an absolute beating for the opponents but the card is decent on its own. Its main purpose is to shut off lifegain as the free spell part isn't too relevant outside of a Mox Amber. We also have a few copies of Rampaging Ferocidon to keep an eye on lifegain while also being a powerhouse with Torbran.
Conclusion
Overall, the deck is more of a meme and meant to be taken lightly. I just wanted to see if I could try to steal some wins against the Historic meta. A deck like this would require cards like Lightning Bolt, Skullcrack, and so much more to keep up with Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath and Goblins. However, the deck sure does put a smile on my face when it does pull out those random victories.
