My Opponent Didn't Even Get a Turn | Brewer's Kitchen
Today we’re gonna kill the opponent before they ever get a turn.

Gameplan
Ok, let’s be real here, if we try to win on turn one, it’s no question that the deck is as glasscannon-y as it gets. The gameplan is relatively simple: Mulligan into an opening hand with a Leyline of Anticipation, a Dark Ritual and a Necropotence or Necroduality.

Once we cast the enchantment, we activate it for as much life as we have to spare, set a stop on our end step and then try to draw as much free mana as possible.

First, we evoke all the Griefs we found to make sure the coast is clear. Then Chrome Mox, Mox Opal and Dark Ritual up to four mana, play as many free spells as we can and then end it all with a Tendrils of Agony or, even better, chaining Beseech the Mirrors until we end it with a Tendrils.

If we managed to play nine spells before the Tendrils, we drain the opponent for 20 life and win the game before they ever get their turn. Now keep in mind, this is all in the Timeless format, so the opponent may just Force of Negation one of our important spells to fizzle the entire combo, but then again, we’re bringing a glass canon to a gunfight, so that’s just how it goes.
Wrap up
I know, very quick deck tech, but what else would you expect from a deck that wins on turn one or dies trying? Sure, we can set up a bit more or have multiple half-lethal Tendrils turns, but the real goal is to just mulligan into the nuts or give it to the opponent.
