Historic 101: Indomitable Prismari
Gameplan
This deck is using the sweet combo of Sage of the Falls and The Locust God. We use Indomitable Creativity to target any of the treasures or tokens we make to pull our combo out of our deck!
This combo isn't infinite as it requires us to have cards in library equal to the number of health our opponents have so if we get paired against a life gain deck, that could be a major concern. Outside of that, the deck should pretty much be able to one turn kill. Also know that the draw is a may ability so you don't have to deck yourself. Just make sure you don't run out of cards!
With Strixhaven's arrival, we've got so many ways to dig through our deck. Even better, we got Brainstorm which allows us to tuck away our combo pieces if drawn! Prismari Command's make a treasure mode is extremely relevant in our deck as that helps us speed out the combo.
Conclusion
The deck popped off quite often and can definitely win out of nowhere so I highly recommend this for somebody looking for a combo/control deck in Historic. The deck folds to something like Rogues but our gameplan is to hopefully just dodge them. Their ability to potentially mill us is rough as we don't have any ways to return the combo once milled. Maybe we can add black now that Historic Anthology 5 is here and we can try to Kolaghan's Command? I don't know if that's worth the inconsistency at mana though. Otherwise, the deck could use a few minor sideboard tweaks like Soul-Guide Lantern!
