Commander Clash: Viewer Submitted Decks | S10 E17
Two weeks ago we asked you, the viewers, to submit decks that you'd like to see us play in a future game. The response was amazing, with hundreds of sweet lists submitted, so big thanks to everyone who shared their brews with us! Here are the four decks we selected:
- Crim is playing yet another Grixis Steal Your Stuff deck, this time led by partners Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist & Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools
- Richard goes for one of the most ambitious jank tribes yet -- Lich Tribal -- led by Morophon, the Boundless
- Seth has now fully embraced his Aggro side, playing an all-in Mono Red Go Wide deck led by Homura, Human Ascendant
- Tomer is here to troll Crim for once, playing a Nissa Tribal deck full of cards led by partners Silas Renn, Seeker Adept & Kodama of the East Tree
There's some weird stuff this game! Which deck will come out on top? Find out now on Commander Clash! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

New Season House Bans
We ignored house bans for this episode since we didn't want to alter viewer decks.
In addition to the official Commander ban list, we have a collection of house bans. This list changes with each season. For Season 10 we started with a clean slate and banned cards based on three loose criteria:
- Cards that were played too much last season.
- Cards that regularly caused games to revolve around them.
- Cards that are far out of the budget of the average viewer.
With this in mind, here is our new ban list for Season 10:
- Rhystic Study
- Mystic Remora
- Notion Thief
- Narset, Parter of Veils
- Hullbreacher
- Gaea's Cradle
- Mana Crypt
- Strip Mine
- MLD / Mass Mana Denial like Blood Moon
- Smothering Tithe
- Teferi's Protection
- Dockside Extortionist
- Necropotence
- Survival of the Fittest
So this is a major shakeup to our ban list. A lot of Commander Clash staples like Smothering Tithe, Rhystic Study, and Dockside Extortionist are out, and there no longer will be the threat of Notion Thief + Windfalls that dominated conversations.
However, there are some notable unbans: expensive cards like Wheel of Fortune are now allowed (for now). Plus for the first time in a long time, fast mana like Sol Ring is back on the table!
Our house bans are meant to encourage more entertaining games for you, the viewers, so let us know what you think of the new ban list! We'll be following all the feedback from the early episodes to see how you all are enjoying it.

Next Week: Alphabet Soup!
We're attempting a challenging deckbuilding restriction next week: Alphabet Soup! Each of us are building a deck where every single non-basic card in the deck starts with the first letter of our name! For example, my name starts with T, so each non-basic card in my deck must start with the letter T! Can we build functional decks with such a restriction? Let's find out!
