Commander Clash S6 E6: Planeswalker Week! (Chandra vs. Kytheon vs. Liliana vs. Windgrace)
Welcome back to Commander Clash! The latest set, War of the Spark, is around the corner, and recently it was revealed that it's jam-packed with planeswalkers -- at least 36 of them! To celebrate this announcement, we decided to have a mini war of our own, pitting four of the planeswalkers that are currently eligible to be commanders. Here's what we picked:
- Crim summons Zombies from the grave with Liliana, Heretical Healer
- Richard assembles Jund Superfriends under the guidance of Lord Windgrace
- Seth steps far out of his comfort zone and goes for an aggressive Burn strategy with Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh
- Tomer has a new take on Mono White, going Superfriends and mobilizing for combat with Kytheon, Hero of Akros
The greatest planeswalker battle has begun! Or, well ... the warm-up to the greatest planeswalker battle has begun! Who will snatch victory? Let's find out! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash. and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Post-Game Thoughts
I really liked my deck this week. I still believe that Mono White works best when you lean heavily on an Equipment theme, since most of White's traditional weaknesses -- card draw, ramp, and tutors especially -- are solved when you focus on Equipment. Sram, Senior Edificer is bae. I mean, yes, there's always Stax too, but I actually like the people I play with so I usually keep that to a minimum (Cataclysm is a beating in a Superfriends deck though!). But I've always been intrigued with the idea of making non-Equipment decks work in White, and I've always wanted to play Gideon Tribal, so this was a fun experiment!
I hope the run this deck again when the opportunity arises. I'm happy with my card choices for the most part, but I think it was less effective due to so many opposing planeswalkers, since a lot of my best cards rely on dealing combat damage to players and I don't get that benefit when I have to attack 'walkers. There's a gimmick that I haven't managed to pull off and I'm sure some of the viewers can figure it out, but thankfully I doubt the rest of the crew care enough to investigate so I can still surprise them with it!
Next Week: Viewer Submitted Decks!
Last week we asked you to submit your decks that you'd like to see us play in a future Commander Clash. We've chosen four of the decks and we'll be playing them next week! There were over a hundred submissions and some really awesome decks to choose from, possibly my favorite bunch ever, so big thank you to everyone who submitted a deck!
