Commander Clash S6 E1: Ravnica Allegiance Part 1! (Haunt vs. Nikya vs. Rakdos vs. Teysa)
Welcome back to Commander Clash! Did you miss us? Because I missed us! And holy moly we're on Season Six now! Does that mean we'll be getting a movie?
A new season means a new roster, and taking Vince's spot is Crim, also known as TheAsianAvenger! You know him from his weekly articles here on MTGGoldfish and his regular Arena stream over on Twitch! It's always exciting to see what the new player brings to the table!
We kick the new season off by celebrating the latest set release, Ravnica Allegiance, by building decks around all the new legendary creatures. Since there's eight new legendary creatures, we'll be covering four this episode and then covering the last four next week! Let's see what we've got:
- Crim shows off the might of Demon Tribal now that we've got our first official tribal commander, Rakdos, the Showstopper
- Richard spooks the rest of the table, running a Discard Voltron deck looking to end games with The Haunt of Hightower
- Seth looks to durdle and get maximum value from death triggers with the help of the "Deatharmonicon," Teysa Karlov
- Tomer puts his money where his mouth is and pilots a budget deck from one of his latest articles, Nikya of the Old Ways
Is Richard secretly playing a Specter Tribal deck? Will Rakdos stop the show, or will he do absolutely nothing? Does Seth even have win conditions in his deck? Let's find out!
