Commander Clash S4 Episode 26: Mono Color (Braids, Shirei, Squee, Thrun)
Dominaria is going to be available on Magic Online soon and Commander Clash will be full of sweet new DOM cards in the upcoming weeks. But for this week we've decided to keep it simple and do Mono Color Commander, where each of us build a Mono Color deck! Richard couldn't make this recording, so Seth will be joining us again in the guest seat! Let's see what we've got:
- Jennifer takes a shot at Voltron by suiting up the bane of Control decks, Thrun, the Last Troll
- Seth plays a "Group Hug" High CMC Tribal deck, cheating big things into play with Braids, Conjurer Adept
- Tom brings back his sweet unique Sacrifice deck, this time with new updates, led by Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker
- Tomer celebrates the new printing of Squee, the Immortal by playing a Discard deck led by his previous version, Squee, Goblin Nabob
Which color will end up being victorious? Let's find out! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash. and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Next Week: Brawl!
Next week we finally get to try out the new Brawl format! For those who haven't heard of Brawl yet, check out the announcement article that explains it in detail. Basically it's a variant of Commander with the following differences:
- Life totals start at 30 (down from 40)
- No commander damage
- 60 card decks (down from 100)
- Standard-legal cards only
- All Planeswalkers are allowed as Commanders
Brawl is often descibed as a fun simpler variant that serves as a gateway to the Commander format. I'm excited to try it out! As always, we love to hear from you guys! Tell us what you think of the games and suggestions on themes or anything else you'd like to see in future videos. You can email me at tomer@mtggoldfish.com or tweet me @BudgetCommander .
