Commander Clash S4 Episode 25: Competitive Commander (Breakfast Hulk vs. Doomsday vs. Ruric Thar vs. Teferi Stax
Here on Commander Clash we tend to play decks that range between what I'd label as "ultra jank" and "semi-competitive"; that's our preferred playstyles and what most of the viewers seem to like the most as well. However, we love mixing things up and trying out new ways to play our favorite format, so this week we've decided to take a shot at Competitive Commander. Each of us have picked a deck list that has a good reputation amongst the CEDH community, where the sole purpose of each deck is to win! Let's see what we've got:
- Jennifer plays Stax Combo, preventing the table from doing anything until she can combo off with Teferi, Temporal Archmage
- Richard of course picks the "janky" deck of the bunch, looking to punish everyone else for playing broken things with Ruric Thar, the Unbowed
- Tom shows off the power of the recently unbanned Protean Hulk, playing a Breakfast Hulk / Hermit Druid Combo deck led by partners Thrasios, Triton Hero and Tymna the Weaver
- Tomer pilots the hardest deck he's ever played, trying to assemble a game-winning pile of 5 cards in a Doomsday deck led by Kess, Dissident Mage
Will the Goldfish Crew manage to properly pilot the most complicated decks they've ever played, full of cards they're not familiar with? Let's find out! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash. and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Post-Game Thoughts
I want a rematch.
Next Week: Mono Color!
While we wait for the Dominaria set and Brawl format to make their way on to Magic Online, we're going to do a Mono Color week! Each of us will pick a color and build a mono color deck around it! As always, we love to hear from you guys! Tell us what you think of the games and suggestions on themes or anything else you'd like to see in future videos.
