Commander Clash S4 Episode 15: Rivals of Ixalan Part 2! (Elenda vs. Ramos vs. Ghalta vs. Nezahal)
Hello and welcome to Commander Clash, a video series where several MTGGoldfish contributors battle in a four player Commander game for fun and bragging rights. We continue our exploration of the new Rivals of Ixalan cards this week with more decks built around the new cards! Let's see what we've got:
- Tom jams every single flipland printed in Ixalan block and finds ways to make very different cards work together with the help of Ramos, Dragon Engine
- Jennifer enters the battlefield with a tidal wave of pain, going Big Blue Voltron by suiting up Nezahal, Primal Tide
- Richard pilots a savage Mono Green Stompy list, smashing the competition with giant spells and giant creatures including Ghalta, Primal Hunger
- Tomer has a hundred ways of killing creatures -- including his own! -- for sweet value, running a Sacrifice deck led by Elenda, the Dusk Rose
Elder Dinosaurs are duking it out with the Legion's Queen and all the fliplands ever printed! Who will come up on top? Let's find out! And as usual, another quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Post-Game Thoughts
As I expected, Elenda, the Dusk Rose is a great card, but her death trigger makes her less appealing as a Commander and more suitable as part of the 99 instead. She's a huge threat that spawns an even scarier threat, so I will instantly jam her into any Sacrifice/Tokens deck that is able to play her, but I'd rather my commander be something that I actually want going back to my command zone.
Of the decks, I thought Tom's Flipland Tribal was the coolest. It was very interesting seeing all the supporting cards he came up with, like Chasm Skulker, which help flip multiple lands. If only we managed to be friends this game!
Next Week: Revenge Week!
We brew a ton of decks for Commander Clash; a new one pretty much every week, actually! Sometimes we create a deck we're especially excited about, only to see the deck underperform in the single game we record with it. Next week, however, will be a second chance for these decks! Now we have another opportunity to show off what our sweet decks are capable of, which leads us to the question: who will have their revenge?
