Commander Clash S4 Episode 14: Rivals of Ixalan Part 1! (Azor vs. Etali vs. Kumena vs. Zacama)
Hello and welcome to Commander Clash, a video series where several MTGGoldfish contributors battle in a four player Commander game for fun and bragging rights. Rivals of Ixalan has finally arrived on Magic Online so that means it's time to build decks around the new legendary creatures from the set! There's a bunch to choose from, so we're going to be showing off the new RIX commanders over the next two weeks. Let's see what we've got:
- Tom brings aggressive Mono Red beats led by an extremely volatile powerhouse Dinosaur, Etali, Primal Storm
- Jennifer the Lord of the Merfolk finally has the chance to play Merfolk Tribal under the command of Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca
- Seth makes a special guest appearance so he can play his favorite commander of the set, the very durdly Azor, the Lawbringer
- Tomer generates an obscene amount of mana with a Mana Doubling / Landfall deck looking to combo off with Zacama, Primal Calamity
All of these new commanders pack a punch, but which one will be victorious? Let's find out! As Tom says, even when faced with imminent defeat, never concede! Make them play it out! Who knows, they might make a mistake like playing a card that they shouldn't have!
