Commander Clash S2 Episode 6: Superfriends
Hello and welcome to Commander Clash, a video series where several MTGGoldfish contributors battle in a four player Commander game for fun and bragging rights. This week, we've all built tricolor planeswalker decks, also known as "Superfriends." To keep things fair, we've banned Doubling Season for this game. Here's what we came up with:
- Seth polices the board with Lady Evangela
- Richard assembles the Gatewatch (along with some of its foes) with Daghatar the Adamant
- Tom sticks to his guns by running an aggressive planeswalker deck with an emphasis on big creatures ledy by Intet, the Dreamer
- Tomer double-dips on proliferate synergies by pairing planeswalkers with infect creatures led by Marchesa, the Black Rose
Another long but totally awesome game! Hope you enjoy the flavor-wins that occured! But first, quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Richard's Deck (Daghatar)

Tomer's Deck (Marchesa)
Post-Game Thoughts
There were plenty of memorable moments in this game: the sequence of Ugin, the Spirit Dragon being killed by Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker (flavor win!) being killed by Garruk, Apex Predator being killed by Hero's Downfall was awesome. There were also some sweet MODO fails and Tomer fails. What more could you want?
Even though I didn't technically win, I consider this a win by turning Tom towards the dark side!
Next Week: Competitive Commander!
We're giving Competitive Commander another shot next week. We will be playing the most powerful decks we can find. There's no budget/theme restrictions; we're playing to win!
As always, we encourage you to leave us a comment on this article, on YouTube, or on Twitter @BudgetCommander. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, be it thoughts on the game, ideas on how to improve the series, or suggestions for future themes; we read all of them and bring them up in discussions. Thanks for watching!
