Commander Clash S10 E4: Viewer Submitted Decks | Arcum Dagsson vs. Belbe vs. Endrek Sahr vs. Toski
Two weeks ago we asked you, the viewers, to submit deck lists that you'd like to see us play on a future episode. We received hundreds of deck submissions and have selected four decks to play today! Here's what we've chosen:
- Crim tinkers with his pile of Artifacts, turning small things into game-ending ones with Arcum Dagsson (submitted by Correl)
- Richard sticks to his jank tribes, this time trying to get a W with the mighty Thrulls led by Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder (submitted by Saintnightmere)
- Seth generates a ton of free mana for the table and uses it to ramp out huge threats with a $70 Belbe, Corrupted Observer (submitted by Ivanhoe jr.)
- Tomer goes nuts with card draw, amassing a Squirrel army led by Toski, Bearer of Secrets (submitted by Michael Fry)
Big thank you to everyone who submitted a deck for this week! It's always a pleasure to go through your sweet brews. Now let's see how the chosen decks fare! Who will emerge victorious? New Season House Bans
In addition to the official Commander ban list, we have a collection of house bans. This list changes with each season. For Season 10 we started with a clean slate and banned cards based on three loose criteria:
- Cards that were played too much last season.
- Cards that regularly caused games to revolve around them.
- Cards that are far out of the budget of the average viewer.
With this in mind, here is our new ban list for Season 10:
- Rhystic Study
- Mystic Remora
- Notion Thief
- Narset, Parter of Veils
- Hullbreacher
- Gaea's Cradle
- Mana Crypt
- Strip Mine
- MLD / Mass Mana Denial like Blood Moon
- Smothering Tithe
- Teferi's Protection
- Dockside Extortionist
- Necropotence
- Survival of the Fittest
So this is a major shakeup to our ban list. A lot of Commander Clash staples like Smothering Tithe, Rhystic Study, and Dockside Extortionist are out, and there no longer will be the threat of Notion Thief + Windfalls that dominated conversations.
However, there are some notable unbans: expensive cards like Wheel of Fortune are now allowed (for now). Plus for the first time in a long time, fast mana like Sol Ring is back on the table!
Our house bans are meant to encourage more entertaining games for you, the viewers, so let us know what you think of the new ban list! We'll be following all the feedback from the early episodes to see how you all are enjoying it.
What Are You Playing On?

Next Week: Niv-Mizzetbowl!
Niv-Mizzet is such a popular character that he's gotten a whopping four card versions so far: Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius, Niv-Mizzet, Parun, and Niv-Mizzet Reborn! Well, there's four of him and four of us, so why not pit them all together and see who emerges victorious? That's right, we're having a Niv-Mizzetbowl!
