Tomer Week | Commander Clash S10 E25
Welcome to the season finale of Commander Clash! We try to shake things up every season, usually by swapping out someone from the core roster, and as you can tell from the title, I'll be the one stepping out next season! I've been in every Commander Clash season since the beginning -- 10 seasons, 5+ years -- so it's time for me to take a break and let some new blood in. As per our traditional send-off, this week is Tomer Week, where everyone builds a Tomer-flavored deck! Here's what we've got:
- Crim brews Tomer Tribal, adding as many Tomer-related cards as possible into the same deck, led by Morophon, the Boundless
- Richard plays a budget brew, this time $45 Blue Control, led by Talrand, Sky Summoner
- Seth plays Tron Tribal, assembling as many 3-piece sets as possible with the help of Sidisi, Undead Vizier
- Tomer tries one last time to assemble Kaldra, and also Vecna to boot, with the help of Sisay, Weatherlight Captain
Will the budget deck be the scariest at the table? Will Kaldra be assembled? What changeling will dominate the table? Find out now on Commander Clash! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

New Season House Bans
In addition to the official Commander ban list, we have a collection of house bans. This list changes with each season. For Season 10 we started with a clean slate and banned cards based on three loose criteria:
- Cards that were played too much last season.
- Cards that regularly caused games to revolve around them.
- Cards that are far out of the budget of the average viewer.
With this in mind, here is our new ban list for Season 10:
- Rhystic Study
- Mystic Remora
- Notion Thief
- Narset, Parter of Veils
- Hullbreacher
- Gaea's Cradle
- Mana Crypt
- Strip Mine
- MLD / Mass Mana Denial like Blood Moon
- Smothering Tithe
- Teferi's Protection
- Dockside Extortionist
- Necropotence
- Survival of the Fittest
So this is a major shakeup to our ban list. A lot of Commander Clash staples like Smothering Tithe, Rhystic Study, and Dockside Extortionist are out, and there no longer will be the threat of Notion Thief + Windfalls that dominated conversations.
However, there are some notable unbans: expensive cards like Wheel of Fortune are now allowed (for now). Plus for the first time in a long time, fast mana like Sol Ring is back on the table!
Our house bans are meant to encourage more entertaining games for you, the viewers, so let us know what you think of the new ban list! We'll be following all the feedback from the early episodes to see how you all are enjoying it.
