The Lands of Battle for Zendikar
The PAX Prime Battle for Zendikar Preview show did not dissapoint. We received a ton of spoilers, including two mythics and lots of information on the lands in Battle for Zendikar. So first, these two bad boys were spoiled:
But whatever, all we care about is lands right? Well, they revealed the art for the new full art lands. Get your Fat Pack money ready folks:
Battle for Zendikar Ful Art Lands
Remember, full art lands are confirmed for the BFZ Fat Packs (80 lands per pack), so prepare your wallets.
Battle for Zendikar Rare Land Cycle
The important thing to note about these lands are their types! Canopy Vista is Forest Plains which means you can use a fetchland to grab it! But wait, we're not done with the lands of Battle for Zendikar yet.
Zendikar Expeditions
Wizards announced that certain Battle for Zendikar packs will contain a special promo from Zendikar Expeditions, a set of bonus promos that will be randomly inserted into packs. The chance of getting one will be about the same as getting a mythic foil — in order words, very rare. Expect these prices to be through the roof. Our first taste of Zendikar Expeditions is full art versions of the new rare land cycle.
Full Art Fetches and Shocks
Staahp Wizards! You're out of control! The Preview Show ended with this bomb: Zendikar Expeditions will continue onto the next set (code named 'Sweat'), and they spoiled two more promos.
Full art fetches and shocks. Oh my, better start looking for a second job. Shut up and take my money. These will be in the BFZ boosters, presumably with the complete cycle of 10 fetches and 10 shocks. Note that Zendikar Expeditions will not be Standard legal unless the card is already in Standard.
