Know Your Combos: Modern Ad Nauseam
Combos are one of my favorite aspects of Magic. There's something about two seemingly random and potentially underpowered cards joining together to do something broken or even game-winning that I find irresistible. However, one thing I've learned is that not everyone is as familiar with the combos of Magic as I am. It seems like every time we play against a combo deck on Twitch or YouTube, there are comments wondering how the combo actually works. Well, Know Your Combos is an attempt to answer these questions. The idea is simple: each episode will focus on a different popular combo and will discuss how the combo works and how to play with and against the combo. It will finish by ranking the combo (compared to other combos in the same format) on speed, resiliency, and consistency. Basically, the idea is that by the end of the episode, you'll know everything you could possibly need to about the combo! First up? A classic Modern combo that has recently jumped back to the forefront of the format: Ad Nauseam!
