Commander Clash S9 E25: New Years Resolutions | Golos vs. Torbran vs. Kykar vs. Sliver Queen

As we say goodbye (and good riddance) to 2020, we look forward to 2021 as another chance to improve ourselves and push our boundaries. Here on Commander Clash, that means it's time for another year of New Years Resolutions! Each of us choose one thing we'd like to do different in Commander in the upcoming year. Here's what we've got:

  • Crim puts aside his durdly Control ways for a shot a true Aggro with a pure Burn deck led by Torbran, Thane of Red Fell
  • Richard hates Blue Control, so he's forcing himself to try it out with Kykar, Wind's Fury
  • Seth has a habit of durdling without actually winning the game, so he's trying to durdle AND win the game this time with Golos, Tireless Pilgrim
  • Tomer keeps jamming budget brews, but this time he takes the opposite approach, making the most expensive deck possible led by Sliver Queen

Who will break their EDH habits and succeed with some new tricks? Find out now on Commander Clash! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Our House Bans

In addition to the official Commander ban list, the following cards are banned on our show:

These additional bans are done to promote games that are more consistently enjoyable for our viewers.

What Are You Playing On?

We're playing Commander on a program called Magic Online. If you're interested in Magic Online then check out my guide to the program over here!

Next Week: Innistrad Angel Sisters!

Four angelic sisters protected the humans of Innistrad, but we've never seen the fourth sister until now, when Commander Legends gave us Liesa, Shroud of Dusk! There's four sisters and four of us, so we pit them against each other and see who wins!
