Commander Clash S8 E8: Quest For the Janklord w/ John | Fblthp vs. Kemba vs. Lu Xun vs. Marath
Hey friends, welcome back to Commander Clash! This week we're making a pact with The Demon to snag our guest from the netherrealm: John from Quest for the Janklord! As part of the contract agreements we're going to be playing by the official Quest for the Janklord deckbuilding rules, which are:
- All cards in a player's deck (commander included) must be valued at less than or equal to .79 cents at the time of build.
- All commanders are chosen randomly by the wheel of fate, with one free respin.
The results are some sweet budget jank decks that force creative deckbuilding! Here's what we've got this episode:
- John ain't kittin' around this episode, building up and arming his cat army led by Kemba, Kha Regent
- Richard is playing Naya Elemental Tribal, growing an army of tokens and pinging away the opposition with Marath, Will of the Wild
- Seth is playing a Blink Mill deck, going for the daunting task of (fairly) milling his opponents to death with Fblthp, the Lost
- Tomer has devised the perfect deck to draw more cards than Seth, drawing his way to victory under the command of Lu Xun, Scholar General
