Commander Clash S7 E9: Peasant Commander | Syr Carah vs. Syr Konrad vs. Syr Elenora vs. Syr Faren

Welcome back to Commander Clash! This week we'll be exploring Throne of Eldraine one last time by building around the Uncommon knight legendary cycle from the set. But there's a twist: since all of these commanders are Uncommon rarity, we decided to go all the way and build full-blown Peasant decks: every card in our deck must have at least one printing at Common or Uncommon rarity! A last-minute emergency meant I couldn't make this recording, but thankfully Richard was able to fill my seat and pilot my deck! Here's what we brought:

  • Andrew is playing a volatile Red Control deck, keeping the board in check under threats of fiery destruction with Syr Carah, the Bold
  • Crim is turning card draw and durdling into a legit win condition with Syr Elenora, the Discerning
  • Richard isn't here to make friends, instead looking to pump up his infect creatures to dish out poison counters with the help of Syr Faren, the Hengehammer
  • Seth looks to draw tons of cards while doing Graveyard shenanigans with the help of Syr Konrad, the Grim

No Rares or Mythics means that a lot of Commander staples aren't allowed! How will this different setting play out? Let's find out! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.
