Commander Clash S4 Episode 31: Season Finale! (Baird vs. Jhoira vs. Tatyova vs. Yargle)
The season finale of Commander Clash is finally here! All good things must come to an end, and while this season was great, now it's time for us to take a short break, refresh ourselves, and plan for the future of the show. We're going out with a bang this week by wrapping up our extensive coverage of Dominaria with one last showcase of the remaining DOM commanders! Let's see what we've got:
- Jennifer champions Mono White Prison once more, this time being led by Baird, Steward of Argive
- Richard gave into the memes and has come to bargle with Yargle, Glutton of Urborg
- Tom assembles an entire fleet of Vehicles under the command of Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain
- Tomer plays a Landfall deck that's all about playing lands over and over, drawing cards along the way with Tatyova, Benthic Druid
Can the mighty Yargle manage to gobble up victory? Let's find out! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash. and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Post-Game Thoughts
Hopefully that satisfies the Yargle Memes. Honestly, Yargle, Glutton of Urborg isn't a great Commander (shocker), but Mono Black decks can still be amazing -- a Mono Black deck with Yargle at the helm is still better than the majority of Mono White decks (sorry, White). As for what Yargle excels at, well, it does have 9 power, so it's not the worst at Voltron strategies. The only card that I'd say is a Yargle "signature spell" would be Tainted Strike since lets Yargle 1-shot anyone.
Apologies for running Storm Cauldron: it's a card I've never run before and the entire idea was to bounce more lands to my hand to get more landfall triggers. It pairs well with stuff like Burgeoning, Exploration, and Azusa, Lost but Seeking. Unfortunately, much like my experimentation with Timesifter, it can lead to uninteresting games that makes it probably not worth running. Though it was weird how much cards we were drawing off it plus Horn of Greed and nobody finding a single artifact removal for the longest time!
That's All For Season 4!
Another season has wrapped up! We'll be taking a month break until starting back up again with Season 5. A big reason for the break is just busy schedules in the following month, especially since most of the Goldfish crew will be traveling to GP Vegas for a week. As for what changes will be made in Season 5: we'll announce when we figure that out! We haven't decided if there will be any lineup changes or whatnot and we'll tell you once we know.
Big thank you to everyone who takes the time to watch a couple friends goof off, play Commander, and punt horribly! You're all the reason why we keep doing this!
