Commander Clash S3 Episode 17: Pre-Modern Commander
Hello and welcome to Commander Clash, a video series where several MTGGoldfish contributors battle in a four player Commander game for fun and bragging rights. This week we're playing a game of Pre-Modern Commander, where all the cards must have been printed before Eighth Edition, the set that marked the beginning of the modern style card frames and the Modern format. Here's what we've got:
- Tom rummages through his graveyard for sweet artifacts and enchantments with Hanna, Ship's Navigator
- Jennifer plays Elfball, summoning a swarm of elves and injecting them with steroids using Kamahl, Fist of Krosa
- Seth plays an aggressive deck for once, hunting for brains with a Tribal Zombie deck led by Lord of Tresserhorn
- Tomer goes for a Voltron/Reanimator strategy, taking another shot at winning with Volrath the Fallen
We're playing with oldschool cards, but that doesn't mean our decks aren't powerful! In fact, most of the busted cards happen to be Pre-Modern, so expect some zany plays! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Next Week: Standard Commander!
Each of us will be building decks with cards that have been printed in the current Standard format, from Battle for Zendikar block up to and including Amonkhet block. We did Standard Commander once when Kaladesh was the latest block and absolutly loved it, so we're excited to do it again! As always, we love to hear from you guys! Tell us what you like to see, what you don't like, any ideas that we can put forward for future videos, or anything else you'd like to tell us! You can reach us in the comments section below, email me at tomer@mtggoldfish.com, or tweet me @BudgetCommander.
