Commander Clash S2 Episode 12: Halloween Special
Hello and welcome to Commander Clash, a video series where several MTGGoldfish contributors battle in a four player Commander game for fun and bragging rights. With Halloween around the corner, we're celebrating my favorite holiday by doing a Halloween Special, with each of us designing a spoooky decks full of ghoulish delights! Here's what we've got:
- Seth summons the Pumpkin King, aka the Reaper King, to lead his army of Scarecrows
- Richard runs a hardcore Skeleton deck with every card art depicting bones, led by Skeleton Ship
- Tom channels the festive spirit of the holiday with a "Trick or Treat" deck with Rubinia Soulsinger
- Tomer makes a pact with the powers below to conjure up Demons championed by Rakdos, Lord of Riots
Enjoy this match of chills and thrills! But first, quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Post-Game Thoughts
When I was editing the video, I realized that I actually had an answer to Stuffy Doll: Malfegor can force it to be sacrificed. If I played him, and tutored up a Rakdos Charm for Mimic Vat, I might have been in a good spot, but who knows for sure. I certainly didn't expect double Blasphemous Act!
I really liked Tom's take on a Halloween deck. Tribal "spooky" decks are great, but Tom's focus on "Trick or Treats" is something I've never seen before. The concept is really sweet. The list is packed with cards you don't often see played in Commander so I'll probably do some playtesting with a version of the deck myself.
Next Week: Kamigawa
We're building decks around one of the legendary creatures from the Kamigawa block! While the block on the whole wasn't well-received, the focus on the "legendary" subtype ended up being a wonderful addition later on to the Commander format. This is one of the most requested themes, so I hope you guys enjoy it!
