This or That Magic: Angels or Demons?
Welcome to the another episode of This or That Magic, the series where we answer life's most important questions the best way we know how: with a game of Magic! This week, we are delving into the ultimate fight: the battle between good and evil. On one side, we have the heavenly Angels sitting on our shoulders, while on the otherside, nefarious Demons whisper in our ears. The question today is which side is better? Angels or Demons? For our matches today, Tomer will be representing the Demons with an evil mono-black deck, while I'll be playing with the mono-white Angels. Which group of huge flyers will come out on top? Let's see!

Discussion
Well, there you have it: good trumps over evil! While the match itself went 3-1 in favor of the Angels, the matchup actually felt pretty close. One of the things I realized when we came up with this matchup is that, in the world of Magic, Angels and Demons are actually pretty similar. While Demons are more likely to have a sacrifice mechanic and Angels are most likely to gain life, both tribes are overloaded with big, powerful but expensive fliers. As a result, the matches are mostly about who runs better.
By far my favorite part of the match is that I didn't actually kill Tomer very often, he mostly just died to his own cards, which seemed fitting for a Demon deck that has a lot of mechanics that are painful like sacrificing your own creatures or taking damage on your upkeep. Plus, we learned why you probably shouldn't play Demonic Consultation in a singleton deck - it's pretty easy to kill yourself by getting just a slight bit unlucky!
Conclusion
Anyway, that's all for today. We'll be back in a few weeks with another episode of This or That: Magic (at this point I think we are shooting for once a month).
