Commander Clash: No Banlist | S10 E15
We're busting out the webcams to do something we've never done before: we're playing with cards that are officially banned in Commander! We took our paper decks and upgraded them with sweet banned cards, then duked it out to see how broken they really are in your average playgroup. Here's what we've got:
- Crim busts out his Esper Superfriends, controlling the board and preventing his opponents from playing with Nevinyrral, Urborg Tyrant
- Richard is looking to win the game with Coalition Victory or similar game-enders using a 5C Elementals deck led by Horde of Notions
- Seth is blinking and reanimating Primeval Titan and similar beaters for infinite value with Yarok, the Desecrated
- Tomer upgrades his $50 deck with $600 worth of banned cards and tutors to find them, nomnom'ing with Gargos, Vicious Watcher
How busted are Primeval Titan and friends really going to be this game? Find out now on Commander Clash! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

New Season House Bans
We didn't use any bans for this episode, obviously. We use these bans for our regular episodes though.
In addition to the official Commander ban list, we have a collection of house bans. This list changes with each season. For Season 10 we started with a clean slate and banned cards based on three loose criteria:
- Cards that were played too much last season.
- Cards that regularly caused games to revolve around them.
- Cards that are far out of the budget of the average viewer.
With this in mind, here is our new ban list for Season 10:
- Rhystic Study
- Mystic Remora
- Notion Thief
- Narset, Parter of Veils
- Hullbreacher
- Gaea's Cradle
- Mana Crypt
- Strip Mine
- MLD / Mass Mana Denial like Blood Moon
- Smothering Tithe
- Teferi's Protection
- Dockside Extortionist
- Necropotence
- Survival of the Fittest
So this is a major shakeup to our ban list. A lot of Commander Clash staples like Smothering Tithe, Rhystic Study, and Dockside Extortionist are out, and there no longer will be the threat of Notion Thief + Windfalls that dominated conversations.
However, there are some notable unbans: expensive cards like Wheel of Fortune are now allowed (for now). Plus for the first time in a long time, fast mana like Sol Ring is back on the table!
Our house bans are meant to encourage more entertaining games for you, the viewers, so let us know what you think of the new ban list! We'll be following all the feedback from the early episodes to see how you all are enjoying it.

Next Week: Banned Commander!
We talked about the ban list recently and what cards we think should be unbanned, so next week we're testing it out! We're upgrading our personal deck lists with some banned cards and seeing how they pan out!
