Fish Five-0: Feeling Really Blue (Standard)
Gameplan
It's been awhile since we've seen Mono U take off, and Ian Birell was able to find success with it at the Streets of New Capenna Championships. This time, Mono U is more spirits-focused and has some powerful spells to back up your board!
The deck is loaded with cheap creatures as you'd expect and is backed up by some extremely efficient spells. Specifically, Slip Out the Back is one of the sweetest new protection spells as it can be used offensively or defensively and can pump your threats! We've also got all the usual suspects like Spell Pierce and Fading Hope to out tempo opponents!
Gameplan
If you're a fan of little blue creatures and tempo, this is definitely worth a try. The deck struggles when it falls behind and doesn't have many ways to pull itself ahead so tight play is needed. It's also sweet that the deck can function on a low curve so don't worry if you only have 2 lands! Just don't keep one landers like my greedy brain did :)
Thanks for watching the content.
