Aether Revolt: Top Five Wrap-Up

Aether Revolt looks like one of the most powerful sets to be printed in a long, long time, so all this week, Chaz and I will be breaking down the best rares and mythics from the set on a color-by-color basis! What cards are we most excited about, and where do we see them fitting into constructed formats? Let's break it down! Also, make sure to let us know in the comments what cards you are most excited for and where you plan on playing them!

Unfortunately, as soon as we finished recording the set reviews, Wizards decided on some surprise bannings for Standard, with Smuggler's Copter, Emrakul, the Promised End, and Reflector Mage meeting their end. As a result, we've had a ton of questions about how this changed our thoughts from the set review videos. While the general answer is "not very much," we did want to take a few minutes today to wrap up the set reviews by talking about how the bannings impact the new cards from Aether Revolt!

Don't forget: if you enjoy the series (and haven't already), make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish YouTube Channel!
