Deck Primer / Description
Built this deck around the time of All will be One/ Brother's war. It's an interesting deck with lots of pieces which pretty much has two win cons.
- You Voltron something and swing and hit.
- They let you ultimate Karn and then you tap all the artifacts to kill players.
It's had a couple of upgrades with each set released, but basically the plan is.
- Get to four mana.
- Activate the Queen each turn (Royals need to lie down a lot), dropping 3 things and getting a new hand.
- If you find the Library of Leng then bin things you don't want, keep and redraw the things you do.
- If you find Bag of Holding, similar, but different.
Recent additions are the Glint-Horn Buccaneer to ping everyone for doing what you're doing anyway, and the Altar of the Brood to make the reanimator decks at the table happy (while annoying everyone else).
Plays well, has won a couple of times with Karn ultimating; most often wins through something being voltroned and hitting each player in turn.
Always feels like you're doing something, irrespective of the "power level" of the table. At lower power tables you will be the threat. At mid tables, you will look threatening. At high power tables... you will die with all your pretty rocks.
It runs a lot of utility lands because they're fun. Do not expect to have a red or white mana source by turn 3, but expect to have ways of making those colours at that point. Only runs 3 basics, so can fail to find deliberately to trigger a deck shuffle.
