Deck Primer / Description
Jacob Hauken, Inspector is a cool card held back by its wording. He does not mark exiled cards with any type of counter, which means if he gets killed or bounced, all cards under him disappear forever. This usually forces you to play many busted spells and rush its transformation. Unfortunately, Extra turns and Eldrazzi aren’t really fun to play against for the table. This crazy monstrosity of a deck makes Jacob fun and fair by abusing its wording to change him into a combo piece.
Since Hauken's Insight lets you play cards ,,exiled with this permanent’’ if we give Jacob the ability to exile cards from anywhere we should be able to play cards exiled this way. Nothing on Hauken's Insight specifies that exiled cards must come from our deck, so it is a way to steal opponents' stuff with Jacob. Is it good? Nah, but it is hilarious.
There are no blue auras that would give creatures the ability to exile anything and equipment (as far as I understand them correctly) like Sword of Kaldra exile cards themselves, so we need to change Jacob into a permanent with an ability to exile. There are three cards making this possible: Polymorphous Rush, Sakashima's Will and Masterful Replication (if Jacob becomes an artifact first). The deck is filled with creatures and artifacts to copy, Raven Guild Master being the funniest one by far. Some of them like Storm Elemental can’t steal opponents stuff, but they do allow us to mass-exile our own deck. We got a couple of artifacts to change creatures into artifacts, and tutors to find our jank.
Other than that, the deck is a relatively normal Jacob deck, with some cards to protect our face and a ton of ways to save Jacob, since if he leaves play everything goes out of the window. There are some effects to untap Jacob for extra value, some alternative, rather flavorful ways to steal our opponents cards. We can also empty all hands and outvalue the table with Hauken’s Insight using Temporal Cascade. That's pretty much it.
Disclaimer - this list is based on the paper version I’m brewing, so I might have forgotten some expensive staples. There is also a chance that the combo does not work, the internet gave no answers. My local judge is almost sure it works, so let's be optimistic.
