Deck Primer / Description
This deck has three ways of getting the advantage on your opponent: aggressive creatures, hand disruption (i.e. taking cards out of your opponent's hand), and threat removal.
This list isn't set in stone. Feel free to tailor the deck to your personal preference by adding or removing cards of your choice.
Below is a list of other cards that you may want to consider. Note that some of these are slightly more expensive in money and/or mana cost. If you're incorporating a lot of cards with a mana cost of 4 or higher, you'll need to adjust the land count to 24:
Aethersphere Harvester
Bloodsoaked Champion
Call of the Death-Dweller
Dead Weight
Demon of Catastrophes
Demonic Embrace
Dirge Bat
Disfigure
Doomfall
Dread Presence
Eliminate
Grasp of Darkness
Graveyard Marshal
Heartless Act
Josu Vess, Lich Knight
Liliana's Triumph
Mardu Strike Leader
Murder
Nightveil Specter
Orzhov Enforcer
Serrated Scorpion
Skysovereign, Consul Flagship
Tattered Mummy
Thrill-Kill Assassin
Tymaret, Chosen from Death
Vraska's Contempt
The below cards may be at the upper end of a casual player's budget ($5 and above per card), but provide fantastic value:
Castle Locthwain
Cavalier of Night
Drana, Liberator of Malakir
Erebos, Bleak-Hearted
Erebos, God of the Dead
Fatal Push
Hero's Downfall
Liliana, Waker of the Dead
Murderous Rider
Rotting Regisaur
Spawn of Mayhem
Thoughtseize
Twilight Prophet
Whether or not to invest extra money in the pricier cards is up to you. You'll find that the initial, budget-friendly list is already quite powerful and consistent in a casual playgroup.
When making your selections, make sure you don't totally fill the deck with cards that cost 3 mana or more. Although it's tempting to have a deck that's stacked with big, imposing threats, you leave yourself in a vulnerable position if you don't manage to present a threat in your early turns.
