Weekly Update (May 31): Budget Standard and Budget Commander
MTGGoldfish News Flash |
MM2 Triple GP Weekend
The Modern Masters 2015 Triple GP weekend finally took place! Congratulations to Yuki Matsumoto, Davide Vergoni, and Aaron Lewis and Scott Markeson for winning GP Chiba, GP Utrecht, GP Las Vegas respectively (GP Las Vegas was split into two events and had two winners). I was personally at GP Las Vegas and was quite impressed with the 8,000+ turn out. The side events were firing with 2,000-3,000; the size of small GPs! GP-ception! Although I narrowly missed Day 2 losing my win-and-in in Round 9, all of my opponents were super friendly and it was a great showing for the community. A shout out to all the MTGGoldfish fans that I met! With the huge GP weekend behind us, the next couple of weeks will be important for Modern mtgfinance. We'll see how the supply of MM2 affects Modern prices and what impact the new set has on the growth of the format itself. It's an exciting time to be a Magic player!
