All the big news this week comes from Pro Tour Amonkhet, which has had a big impact on the prices of some popular Standard cards. As far as%age change, the biggest winner was New Perspectives, which went from bulk to about $3 based on a round one feature match. Unfortunately, the deck ended up being one of the worst performing this weekend, which means the price spike is likely to be short lived. If you have copies, sell them. If you want to build the deck, you'll save a bit if you can wait a week or two for prices to normalize.
Most of the other big gainers come from the two breakout decks: Zombies and Temur Aetherworks. The Zombie deck has nearly doubled in price over the past two weeks with across the board price increases, while Aetherworks Marvel is up 125% to $11 and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger increased 77% to almost $30. While both of these decks will likely be a major part of Amonkhet Standard moving forward, it's important to remember that they rotate in September, which means if you have copies that you aren't playing with, you should probably sell them as soon as possible for maximum value.
Finally, while the changes aren't as significant, we have some losers from Pro Tour Amonkhet as well, with most of the hyped blue control cards including Pull from Tomorrow and Commit // Memory trending down after having a miserable weekend. Other underplayed Amonkhet cards include Gideon of the Trials, Glorybringer, and Rhonas the Indomitable, which are ticking down as well.
