Duel Decks: Elspeth vs Kiora

We're less than two weeks ago from the release of Duel Decks: Elspeth vs Kiora. This week the decklists were revealed for the two decks and we have them available complete with prices. Hasbro Financial Report

Hasbro had their Investor Day this week and released some information on the direction of the Magic franchise. You can view the slides courtesy of /u/shor from /r/mtgfinance here. The interesting news is Duels of the Planeswalker will get a quarterly release to match paper Magic, and they will "double their efforts" on Magic Online. It seems Hasbro has finally taken notice of the cash machine that is Hearthstone.

Fate Reforged Draft Analysis

We posted our Fate Reforged draft statistics earlier this week. We dug through the replays of 39,000 Magic Online Fate Reforged Draft games to determine what the most popular colors and cards are. Magic Online Daily Event Schedule

Wizards announced some changes to MTGO DEs this past week. In a nutshell, they're rotating the times of Daily Events so that different days will have different formats in time slot. The new schedule takes effect February 18. In addtion, they killed Momir Basic Daily Events, added more Pauper events (now daily), and reduced the number of Legacy events. You can read about all the changes here.

The Swag of Pro Tour Fate Reforged

Pro Tour Fate Reforged gave us two pieces of new Magic the Gathering swag. A limited edition all-black Funko Pop! Nicol Bolas, and a sweet alternate art Ugin playmat.
