Modern Masters 2015 Announced

Modern Masters 2 (2015 Edition) was announced at Worlds! The details are as follows:

  • Cards: Reprints from 8th Edition to Scars Block.
  • MSRP: $9.99 per pack ($6.99 Magic Online), 24 booster packs per box
  • Release Date: May 22, 2015
  • Magic Online Release Date: May 29, 2015
  • Number of Cards: 249

Modern Masters 2015 Spoilers

With the announcement, we have our first spoilers for MM2!

 

Redditor /u/pyromosh has noticed that the collector's number is 3, and there are only three colorless, non-artifact, non-land cards that come before Emrakul alphabetically. So two of the following will be in MM2:

Mishra's Toy Workshop

 

 

Wizards spoiled this year's holiday promo: Mishra's Toy Workshop. These are given to Wizards employees and family during the holidays, so you'll need to scoop these up on ebay if you want one. These are currently going for ~$180.

Fate Reforged Prerelease Information

Prerelease information for the next Magic set Fate Reforged was released this week. Wizard's product information page lists these as the contents of the pre-release kit:

  • 4 Fate Reforged booster packs
  • 1 Khans of Tarkir booster pack
  • 1 seeded booster pack
  • 1 Activity insert
  • 1 Clan information card
  • 1 Spindown Life Counter
  • 1 clan identity button

Pro Tour Special Invitation

Kenny McCormick was invited to Pro Tour Fate Reforged for his performance in Cock Magic! You can see his name at the bottom here. The invitation letter was revealed on twitter, as well as some South Park reproductions of Magic cards.
