This or That Magic: Cats or Dogs?

Welcome to the pilot episode of a new series we're trying out for the YouTube channel: This or That Magic! The idea of the series is simple: life is full of important questions that really need to be answered, so Tomer and I are going to try to help everyone out by answering life's most important questions the best way we know how—with a game of Magic! This week, our question is Cats or Dogs? The format is casual Vintage, which means that while we have the entire card pool at our disposal, you shouldn't be expecting Moxen and Black Lotus; instead, the goal is to stick as closely to to the theme as possible. Tomer will be representing the Dog side of the battle, while I will be representing the Cats, and by the time our match is over, we'll know once and for all which is better. As such, if you are thinking of getting a pet, you're not going to want to miss this episode!

Don't forget: if you enjoy the series (and haven't already), make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish YouTube Channel!

The Decks

Wrap Up

Well, it looks like we have a clear answer to this week's question. If you are looking for a pet, go with a Dog! Since this is the pilot episode of the series, make sure to leave some feedback. If you like the series, we'll put it in the regular rotation! Furthermore, what did you think of the power levels of the decks? If we do continue the series, do you like the extreme focus on flavor, or would you rather see more competitive decks that are not as as strictly focused on the theme? Also, if you have any ideas for a this-or-that question that could make good episodes, make sure to let us know in the comments!

As always, you can reach me on Twitter @SaffronOlive and Tomer @BudgetCommander. You can also reach me by email at SaffronOlive@MTGGoldfish.com.

Clarion Conqueror shutting down every Badgermole Cub and more is such a funny and mean thing to do but will buy us enough time for our Azorius Tempo deck to close out.
