Single Scoop: We Need An Extraction Specialist! (Explorer, Magic Arena)
Gameplan
Humans arent known for their recursion gameplan as it usually slows down their aggro gameplan but maybe it's worth a try as Extraction Specialist is able to reoccur some powerful two-drop humans.
One of the obvious and more powerful things we can do is abuse 'enters the battlefield' effects like Thalia's Lieutenant but some of the other fun humans we can return are Kitesail Freebooter and Archfiend's Vessel. After you combine all of that with Collected Company, we're able to do a lot at the end of an opponent's turn. Archfiend's Vessel is a human but we're trying to actually bring it back so we can get a 5/5 flying Demon. Theres is the disruption from Kitesail Freebooter as well. We can also use Katilda, Dawnhart Prime passive ability to allow us to dump out more humans or grow the team when needed.
Conclusion
The deck's ability to grind out a match up is actually quite nice but in a best of one ladder, there's a ton of respect for Greasefang which causes us to get caught in the crossfire but the deck has some absolutely nasty turns thanks to Extraction Specialist bringing but whatever we need. I think something we could look into adding is Charming Prince as a way to blink something again. There's definitely a lot more to explore when it comes to a flickering humans archetype as more humans get printed everyday. This deck is just a fun experiment but right now it feels like Humans is extremely fringe or a solid tier 2. Maybe once cards like Reflector Mage and Mantis Rider are printed, we can keep our foot on the gas pedal but for now, this is just a pet deck for people who love the archetype of humans!
