Single Scoop: Mill n' Chill (Historic, Magic Arena)
Game Plan
Mill players rejoice! We finally got Glimpse the Unthinkable #15 to play with in Historic!
Because of this, we're going to try a Dimir mill list that will rely on the usual suspects like Ruin Crab #75, but I'm trying out a few sweet cards that I haven't played before in Sea Gate Stormcaller #77 & Vantress Gargoyle #71! Those cards give us a way to copy some of our mill spells, while the Gargoyle just serves as a big body. Both cards can also crew Unlicensed Hearse #64 Showcase which has to be one of the most important pieces of Graveyard hate right now! We've also got Saiba Syphoner #11 as a way to serve as a way to get back our mill spells!
Conclusion
The deck isn't tier 1 by any means, and we definitely got lucky in a majority of our games but the deck is so much fun. I think Historic is in need of Hedron Crab #155!!!! I doubt they'd bring Surgical Extraction #19 Showcase in but if we're able to get cards like Crypt Incursion #198 or even Extirpate #114, mill jumps up some tiers. For right now, it's a pet deck but getting better with each new inclusion!
