Gameplan

The general gameplan is to make a ton of treasures and win with Marionette Master

$ 0.00 $ 0.00

We still play a control gameplan with removal and counterspells until we get to a point where we build up a critical mass of treasures from spells like Treasure Map, Prismari Command, & Unexpected Windfall. We've also got our favorite dragons in Galazeth Prismari and Goldspan Dragon to help us keep the treasure value going. Once we've acquired enough treasures, we pop off by sticking Marionette on board and putting three +1/+1 counters on Marionette to have our opponents lose four life for every used treasure!

$ 0.00 $ 0.00 $ 0.00 $ 0.00

Conclusion

The deck was fun but might be a bit too clunk with Marionette. Its a cute alternative wincon but Grixis dragons might just be the better deck. Hopefully, more artifacts being added to historic will allow us to be at a point in the meta to play cards like Herald of Anguish and Marionette Master. For now, this is more of a tier 3 deck but definitely a spicy way to win if you can get all the pieces together!

Single Scoop: How Bad is Red Without Monstrous Rage?

Its kind of a hot topic about if red can go on without Monstrous Rage or not. Lets take a look at how the aggro deck would fair without their absurdly busted combat trick.
