Single Scoop: Hero of Historic (Historic, Magic Arena)
Gameplan
Esper Hero was a deck that was near and dear to me when it was legal in standard so naturally we're going to try to see if we can make the deck work again!
The gameplan is to honestly make a ton of tokens with Hero + Kaya, Geist Hunter. Because we're also going to need a bit more than just Hero to make the token sub-theme work I've added Planeswalkers like Sorin the Mirthless and Ashiok, Nightmare Muse. It's also nice to have The Scarab God make two potential tokens. Other than that, the deck plays just like the Esper Hero deck from standard's past!
Conclusion
The deck might be a little bit fair for what historic is doing so it was nice to play an old deck I enjoy, but I can't imagine Hero of Precinct One taking over the format. Also, I'm not sure if Kaya can be put into a deck with a token sub-theme as it feels Kaya wants to be in a deck that goes all-in on tokens, but I just wanted to be greedy.
