Rough Drafts: Innistrad

Hey everyone, it's time for another edition of Rough Drafts! I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a huge fan of Ixalan limited - it's a bit too fast for my tastes. The good news is that, thanks to Magic Online, we have other options. For example, this week, in celebration of Halloween, Magic Online is running Innistrad flashback drafts, and Innistrad just happens to be one of the greatest limited formats of all time.

What makes Innistrad so amazing? Apart from some cool mechanics and interesting tribes, there are a bunch of sweet build-round cards that create their own limited archetypes, and these archetypes are actually good. You can be Travel Preperation aggro, you can look to abuse some tribal synergies in Vampires, Werewolves or Spirits, or you can go all in on cards like Burning Vengeance and Spider Spawning. The combination of powerful cards and unique archetypes make Innistrad one of my all time favorite limited formats, so let's jump into a draft and see if we can pick our way into something spicy!

Just a quick reminder: if you enjoy the Rough Drafts series and the other video content on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish YouTube channel to keep up on all the latest and greatest.
