Rough Drafts: 10th Edition

Hello everyone! It's time for another edition of Rough Drafts! This week are heading back to Core Set land for 10th Edition, the last of the old-style, all reprint Core Sets before Magic 2010 would come along and change the game forever (or at least for a few years, until Core Sets are dropped all together). How much different is 10th Edition from 9th and 8th? I have no idea because I've never drafted the format before! What I do know is we want to open a Crucible of Worlds, otherwise we'll focus on the basics—curve, removal, bombs and fliers—which is very often a winning formula in the watered down world of Core Sets.
