Much Abrew: Prison Breach (Modern)
Hello everyone, and welcome back to Much Abrew About Nothing! This week, we're heading to Modern to do one of my favorite things in all of Magic: make opponents not play Magic! Prison has been on the outs in Modern thanks to the banning of fast mana and more flexible answers to artifacts and enchantments entering the format in recent years. But now, it just might be back to thanks to Ugin's Labyrinth! Our plan today is simple: hopefully stick a Chalice of the Void on Turn 1 or a Trinisphere on Turn 2 with the help of Ugin's Labyrinth's fast mana and then use Through the Breach to cheat a hasty Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or Ulamog, the Defiler into play to annihilate our opponent before they can break free from the lock! Are Trinisphere and Chalice of the Void back? Can we build the biggest possible Ulamog, the Defiler in Modern? Let's get to the video and find out!
