Much Abrew: 8 Rack Discard but in Standard (Bloomburrow)
Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of Much Abrew About Nothing! This week, we're heading to Bloomburrow Standard to play some 8 Rack, or at least the closest we can get to 8 Rack in a Standard that technically doesn't have The Rack. The good news is that thanks to Bloomburrow, we do have Bandit's Talent, which is one of the best discard cards printed in a long time. Not only does it work like a mini version of The Rack once we level it up, but it also makes our opponent discard when it enters the battlefield and also might draw us some cards once we hit level three. Backing up Bandit's Talent is Painful Quandary as our secondary The Rack. Once we get our opponent empty-handed, the enchantment becomes absurdly powerful, either keeping our opponent from casting spells or dealing tons of damage. Finally, we stock up on all the best discard possible in Standard, including Cruelclaw's Heist, Liliana of the Veil, Hopeless Nightmare, Rankle's Prank, and Hostile Investigator to help clean out our opponent's hand and turn on our Rack effects.
