Hour of Devastation Spoilers — June 16, 2017 | Spoiler Kickoff: The Scorpion God and New Mechanics

Hour of Devastation

Hour of Devastation preview season officially kicked off today with a giant game of Magic between Nicol Bolas and the Gatewatch at Grand Prix Vegas. We received a new (destructible) God, a Planar Cleansing-like card, and Damnation Invocation. Earlier in the day we also received the "Defeat of X" uncommon cycle featuring the Gatewatch getting destroyed by Nicol Bolas. Hidden amongst the commons and uncommons, we see some of the set mechanics: Eternalize, Afflict, out-of-combat Exert, and Desert-matters cards. Finally, we also received the two Planeswalker Deck planeswalker, Nicol Bolas, the Deceiver, and Nissa, Genesis Mage. Be sure to check out our Hour of Devastation spoilers page for all the spoilers (sortable and filterable) and the latest pre-order prices!
