Five Five-0: Delver Has A Backside?!
Gameplan
I've often strayed away from Delver of Secrets as I've got a very personal experience with the card never flipping but it's okay, new year means new crim (sorta).
We're going to try to play the tempo game with a bunch of cheap threats like Delver and Magmatic Channeler to hopefully get going earlier and then doing classic tempo plays like Fading Hope to force an opponent to redeploy a threat again. Post board, we board into a ton of cheap countermagic to force an opponent with clunky spells and Planeswalkers stumble.
Conclusion
The deck does fall pretty far behind against Orzhov Control as that deck is our worst nightmare. Otherwise, the deck does a pretty good job against other decks and midrange decks. I'll have to look into how to beat those darn Orzhov Control/Midrange decks as that match up just feels miserable from our side of the board.
Thanks for watching the content.
