Deconstructed: Exodus

Fletcher here and welcome back to Deconstructed, a retro set review, where we take a look back at Magic the Gathering history through the lens of a single constructed set. Today, in our sixth episode, we will be looking at the last set release in the Tempest block, Exodus. Can the Weatherlight crew make it safely off the Rath plane and back home to Dominaria? How did these cards influence the 1998 meta? What effect did they have on the 1998 World Championship? All these questions will be answered...and more! As we dust off this set to learn about the history and story that surrounds the creation of Magic's 14th expansion, Exodus.

What is your favorite card from Exodus? How are these cards still being used in formats today? If you enjoy this series, let me know on Twitter @FunkDeLaFletch and leave your comments below.
